He has been shooting so long he does not remember when he started but thinks it was about when he was five years old. He joined the team in the fall of 2019 and has grown most fond of trap and sporting clays in his decade plus of shooting.
- Maxon Blow: Maxon will be a Junior in the fall of 2020, majoring in Athletic Training. She is from Clayton, DE and began shooting her freshman year (2018) at UD, which is also when she joined the team! She likes sporting clays most of all.
- Sam Hellings: Sam is a Sophomore Chemical Engineer from Levittown, PA. He began shooting in 2018 and joined the UD Trap and Skeet family in 2019. His favorite discipline is doubles trap. Just kidding, it is actually sporting clays!
- R. Nick Hughes (President): Nick is finishing his Junior year, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. The Street, MD native has been shooting since he was very young but started shooting trap with his family in 2008. He joined the UD family in 2017 and the team his fall semester. That year, he became our fundraising chair, eventually moving into the roles of Travel Coordinator and President. His 50,000+ ATA registered trap targets show where his loyalties lie.
- Nate King: Nate is a Junior Software Engineer who was in the Air Force. He is from Newark, DE and began shooting in 2019. He joined the University of Delaware team soon afterward, at the start of our fall semester. His favorite discipline is skeet.
- Teddy Lambert (Vice-President): Teddy is a member of the UD Class of 2022, studying Chemical Engineering. He grew up in Scranton, PA. He started shooting when he joined the team in 2019 and his favorite discipline is sporting clays. He was elected our Vice-President and Merchandising Chair his Sophomore spring.
- Dan McShane (Practice Coordinator): Dan is from Towson, MD and is a sophomore Criminal Justice major. He began actively shooting in 2018 when he joined the UD Trap and Skeet family with little clay target experience. He quickly progressed, winning Open C Class in International Trap at the 2019 ACUI National Championship. Dan is our team comedian and his favorite event is whatever he shoots best in that day. He was elected Secretary after he showed his dedication his freshman year. He will be studying abroad his Junior year fall.
